A man died after crashing into a concrete pole at a car dealership in Texas.

The crash occurred at around 12:15 p.m. local time on Saturday, Jan. 3, in the 1500 block of the southbound side of Dallas Parkway, according to a news release from the Plano Police Department.

A preliminary investigation found that a silver Hyundai Accent “struck the curb, left the roadway, and collided with a concrete power pole,” police said, noting that the car was “traveling at a high rate of speed” at the time of the collision…
