A late-night confrontation outside a Dallas tattoo shop turned deadly yesterday when an employee at Legendary Ink was shot during an exchange of gunfire and later died at the hospital, authorities said.
The shooting unfolded around 10 p.m. in the Cedar Crest pocket of East Oak Cliff, near East 11th Street and Cedar Crest Boulevard. Police said the suspect took off on foot and has not been caught. The victim’s name has not yet been released.
What Police Say
According to officers at the scene, an armed person walked up to the employee outside the shop and both opened fire. The worker was critically wounded, taken to a hospital, and later pronounced dead. It is not clear whether the suspect was hit.
