Former WWE NIL athlete AJ Ferrari was arrested in Nebraska after being stopped for speeding and later found to have an active warrant out of Texas. The University of Nebraska senior wrestler was taken into custody on Saturday and booked on a fugitive from justice charge linked to that warrant.
The Daily Nebraskan is reporting that Ferrari was pulled over on Friday after allegedly driving 90 mph, leading officers to discover an outstanding warrant issued in October from Dallas, Texas. The warrant stems from an alleged incident in which he is accused of evading arrest in the state.
In an official statement, the Nebraska Athletic Department confirmed it is aware of Ferrariās arrest and noted it is awaiting further details from authorities before offering additional comment.
