CEDAR HILL, TX – Two people are dead following a violent confrontation Friday night that began as a reported road disturbance and ended in an officer-involved shooting along U.S. Highway 67, according to Cedar Hill police.
Officers were called around 8 p.m. to the 1400 block of North Highway 67 after a driver reported a major disturbance involving two vehicles. The caller told dispatchers someone had fired shots at his vehicle and provided a description of the suspect car.
When officers arrived, they located the suspect vehicle stopped on the shoulder of the highway and initiated a high-risk traffic stop. During the encounter, a woman exited the passenger side of the vehicle. Police say she was immediately shot by the driver…
