Pleasant Grove Backyard Killing: Dallas Cops Name Man Slain on Neosho Drive

Dallas police have identified the man found fatally shot in a Pleasant Grove backyard on Nov. 29 as 35-year-old Jose Isreal Perez. Officers were called around 5:15 p.m. to a home in the 10000 block of Neosho Drive, where they discovered Perez unresponsive in the backyard with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said.

His name was released publicly today in a report by The Dallas Morning News, which cited a Dallas Police Department incident report. The outlet also noted that, as of this month, investigators had no new updates on the case.
