Viral Dallas Christmas mansion cost taxpayers $30,000, as city proposes changes

DALLAS — Dallas’ viral Preston Hollow home, known for its over-the-top holiday decor, cost the city thousands of dollars in 2025, the city said.

The city spent money on off-duty officers, barricades and vehicles after the home caused large crowds and significant traffic issues in the neighborhood, according to a city staff presentation.
