Dallas–Fort Worth, Texas – A sharp Arctic blast is set to arrive by late Friday, raising the risk for dangerous cold, icy roads, and potential power and pipe issues across North and Central Texas heading into the weekend.
According to the National Weather Service in Fort Worth, an Arctic air mass will push into the region Friday night, dropping temperatures below freezing across much of North and Central Texas through at least Sunday afternoon.
