Known as the Great James Madison, the 110-year-old Dallas campus recently completed a transformational four-year renovation and construction project, marking a new chapter in its long-standing legacy in South Dallas.
“Trojan pride is a state of mind. It shapes how our students think, lead, and strive for greatness,” said Lonnie Russell, principal.
Renovations include a state-of-the-art competition gymnasium, modern weight room, athletic training spaces, new locker rooms, and a fully equipped concession stand; made possible by the 2020 Bond.
The campus also features outdoor enhancements with a new football and soccer practice field with a track, a baseball field, tennis courts, and three new parking lots to better serve students and the community…
