TEXAS — Texas laws designed to prevent squatters and speed up evictions are now in effect and are being enforced by constables in counties across the state.
With evictions, deputies say they walk a fine line between enforcing the law and showing compassion. Along with these new laws, they say they’ll be able to better protect and serve.
