Dallas firefighters battle house fire for 3 hours, officials say

DALLAS — Dallas firefighters battled a house fire for nearly three hours overnight, officials said.

As temperatures dipped well below freezing, firefighters responded to reports of a fire around 1:18 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 36 in the 9900 block of Losa Drive, Dallas Fire-Rescue said in a press release.

When crews arrived they found lots of fire coming from the front of a two story house, the department said. The fire was already in advanced stages and crews began to fight it defensively, officials said. Firefighters battled the flames for three hours and it was declared out at 4:03 a.m., officials said…
