Healthgrades has released its 2026 list of Best Hospitals in the country, which rates healthcare facilities based on outcomes from claims data. This year’s list named Baylor Scott & White Health Medical Center – McKinney and Medical City Arlington to the list of top 100 hospitals in the country, and added 12 more North Texas facilities to its list of the best 250 hospitals nationwide.
This is the sixth consecutive time that Medical City Arlington has been named to the list, and the fifth consecutive honor for Baylor Scott & White Health Medical Center – McKinney.
Since 1998, Healthgrades has ranked hospitals to provide transparency and information to consumers as they choose where to receive their care. The ranking analyzes clinical outcomes for 4,500 short-term acute care facilities across the country each year based on Medicare patient records of 31 common conditions and procedures.
