Mesquite police arrest suspect accused of killing DoorDash driver in North Carolina

DALLAS — A traffic offense Tuesday evening led Mesquite police to help nail a murder suspect out of North Carolina, according to authorities in both North Texas and Charlotte.

Kelvin Javier Molina Garcia, 30, was arrested after his vehicle drew attention while driving on US Hwy 80 near Galloway, Mesquite police told WFAA. Molina Garcia’s vehicle came up as a suspect vehicle in a homicide, which Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said happened on Jan. 25.
