Chili’s is continuing efforts to sustain recent performance gains by investing in marketing, operations and menu updates, while beginning a broader restaurant modernization initiative. The brand has remodeled four of its approximately 1,200 U.S. locations, all in the Dallas area, and plans to remodel 60 to 80 restaurants in 2027. Executives said during Brinker International’s second-quarter earnings call earlier this week that the company aims to remodel an additional 100 locations in 2028.
Papa Johns is bringing pan pizza back to its menu nationwide after discontinuing the offering in 2019. Company executives said the chain aims to differentiate its pan pizza through premium ingredients and a proprietary recipe.
