The Rustic to Bring Live Music and Wood-Grilled Dining to Grandscape

The Rustic, the popular Dallas-born restaurant and live music venue, is expanding its reach to North Texas this summer with a new location at Grandscape. Located at 5805 Grandscape Blvd., the venue will occupy the former Lava Cantina space, reimagining the stage-forward footprint with a focus on Texas hospitality and Americana music.

A Neighborhood Tradition with a New Rhythm

The new venue is designed to be a social hub for neighbors, date nights, and groups. Guests can expect the brand’s signature blend of hand-crafted American food, an extensive premium beverage program, and a nightly lineup of local musicians.

“We’re taking a venue that already had a heartbeat and giving it a new rhythm – one built around Americana music, local and regional dining favorites and a casual atmosphere that invite people to stay awhile,” said Kyle Noonan, co-owner and CEO of FreeRange Concepts.

Experience-Driven Dining and Entertainment

As with its original location, the Grandscape site will offer:

  • Wood-grilled, made-from-scratch dishes and local Texas brews.
  • Live music five days a week featuring local Americana artists.
  • Daily happy hours and family-style brunch on Saturdays and Sundays.

The venue’s placement in one of the region’s busiest entertainment corridors – surrounded by attractions like NFM, Scheels, and Andretti Indoor Karting & Games – is a strategic fit for the brand’s large-format, experiential model.

Expanding the DFW Footprint

This opening marks the second location for The Rustic in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and its fifth in Texas. By moving into the northern communities, the brand continues its expansion into high-traffic markets that prioritize community and shared experiences…
