DALLAS, Texas — A man was fatally shot in Dallas late Thursday night, and a suspect with an outstanding warrant was arrested, according to the Dallas Police Department.
On February 5, 2026, at approximately 10:25 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting call in the 200 block of S. Jim Miller Road. Upon arrival, officers discovered a man who had been shot. Dallas Fire-Rescue transported the victim to a local hospital, where he later died. The Dallas County Medical Examiner is assisting in identifying the victim, stated the department.
