Late-Night Knife Fight Leaves 2 Dead Outside Deep Ellum Cash Cow

A violent fight outside a popular Deep Ellum nightclub ended with two people dead yesterday, after what Dallas police say turned into a double stabbing on North Good Latimer Expressway.

Officers were called to the 400 block of North Good Latimer just after 1:30 a.m. and found two victims with stab wounds, according to Dallas police. One person died at the scene, and the second was rushed to a hospital, where they later died. Police said an alleged suspect was taken into custody, and the investigation is still very much active.

Police: Call Around 1:35 a.m.

Dallas police said officers responded to a report of a stabbing at about 1:35 a.m. along the strip of N. Good Latimer Expressway, which includes the Cash Cow nightclub, according to CBS Texas. Investigators told the outlet that a fight broke out, and two people were stabbed during the confrontation. One victim died on the sidewalk, while the second was later pronounced dead at a hospital.

The department said an alleged suspect was quickly taken into custody. As of now, officials have not released the names of the victims or the person in custody while detectives continue interviews and gather evidence.
