ARLINGTON, Texas — A 58-year-old woman was shot in the leg after allegedly attacking vehicles with a knife at a gas station early Monday morning, according to Arlington police.
Officers responded around 3:50 a.m. to a gas station in the 2600 block of E Lamar Blvd to investigate a reported shooting. Upon arrival, they found the woman on the ground with a gunshot wound to her leg. She was transported to a local hospital and is listed in serious condition, stated the police.
Witnesses and surveillance footage revealed that the woman approached a Jeep parked at a pump and began striking it with a knife. A man was pumping gas into the Jeep while his wife was inside the vehicle. The man moved to another nearby vehicle, but the woman followed and continued her attack.
