One man is dead after officers shot him for pointing a gun at a SWAT team member in West Dallas on Friday morning.
The Dallas Police Department is investing the officer-involved shooting. They say a SWAT team was executing a drug warrant to the home on Shaw Street off Canada Drive and Sylvan Avenue in West Dallas.
Police say when SWAT arrived on scene, they found the suspect with a gun, he then pointed the gun “directly to the officer’s head,” and that’s when shots were fired…
