Public Storage, largest self-storage company in US, to move headquarters from California to Texas

Another major company is moving its corporate headquarters from California to Texas as the state’s robust economy continues to fuel population growth.

Public Storage this month announced that it will relocate from the greater Los Angeles area to Frisco, a Dallas suburb. The move comes after the company, founded in California in 1972, had already seen substantial growth in Texas.

“Public Storage will relocate its corporate headquarters to North Dallas…benefiting from the depth of talent and innovation in that market, while maintaining a long-term presence in Glendale, California,” the company said in a press release…
