A Giant Red Ball Will Be Bouncing Around Dallas This Spring – Here’s Why

The Dallas Arts District has announced the Texas debut of RedBall Dallas. RedBall is a world-renowned traveling art installation that is much like it sounds: a 15-foot, 250-pound bright red inflatable ball.

This June, RedBall will be bouncing around the City of Dallas – popping up in different areas about the city each day. Continue below to find out more about RedBall Dallas.

Created by artist, Kurt Perschke, in 2001, the RedBall Project has since traveled over 50 cities across the world including the likes of Tokyo, Antwerp, and Paris. The RedBall Project will be the highlight of Dallas Arts District Fest, visitors can see the big red ball – whether intentionally or by accident – around the city.

As stated in the release, RedBall Dallas will mark the exhibition’s Texas debut – hosted from June 19 – 28, 2026 while coinciding with the FIFA World Cup 2026…
