WHITE SETTLEMENT, TEXAS — Police say thieves used a stolen SUV from Dallas to violently rip an ATM out of a 7-Eleven in White Settlement during the early morning hours of Christmas Eve, leaving the North Texas convenience store heavily damaged.
Investigators believe the vehicle used in the attempted robbery may also be connected to other similar ATM thefts in the region.
Early Morning Break-In
According to authorities, the suspects drove a stolen SUV into position and used it to forcibly tear the ATM from inside the store. Surveillance footage from inside the 7-Eleven shows shelves shaking and merchandise shifting as the machine was ripped from its mount.
