DALLAS — As owner of the enduring Dallas-based restaurant, Norma’s Cafe, Edward “Ed” L. Murph III stood as an important part of the local business and restaurant community.
Many in those respective communities have mourned Murph this week, as news of the restauranteur’s death on Feb. 23 was confirmed Friday. Murph was 78 years old.
In an Instagram post, the Greater Dallas Chapter of the Texas Restaurant Association called Murph “a respected leader and cherished member of our restaurant community” and said “his impact on our industry and the countless lives he touched will not be forgotten.”…
