IRVING, Texas — Irving firefighters quickly contained a fire Sunday morning along railroad tracks near a residential area, preventing the flames from spreading to nearby structures.
At approximately 8:52 a.m. on March 1, the Irving Fire Department responded to multiple calls reporting a fire near the railroad tracks in the 1700 block of Oak Lea Drive, near E. Grauwyler Road.
Crews arrived within minutes and were able to extinguish the fire before it caused any damage to surrounding homes or buildings. Officials confirmed no injuries were reported…
