COPPELL, Texas — Coppell Middle School North was put on a hold status on Wednesday after a student discovered a bullet in a classroom, school officials said.
In a letter sent to parents on Wednesday, March 4, the district said the campus was placed on hold while school administration and police investigated the ammunition. No weapon was found or reported on campus, Chris Gollner, North Middle School principal, said in the letter.
The incident is linked to a previous incident on the campus last week, the letter states. It’s not clear what the previous incident was. WFAA has reached out for more details.
