Dallas (KDAF) — After three decades in the restaurant industry, Sergio Quijano is bringing a taste of his childhood in Mexico City to North Dallas with Tacos El Metro, an elevated taqueria focused on fresh ingredients, bold flavors and a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere.
Quijano began his culinary journey 33 years ago when he arrived in Dallas. He started as a dishwasher, then worked his way up to busboy, cook, waiter and eventually wine buyer in fine dining restaurants across the city.
After 30 years in the industry, he decided it was time to create something of his own…
