TENNESSEE COLONY, Texas — A Dallas County man convicted of murder has died in custody at the Beto Unit in Anderson County.
An autopsy has been ordered for Jerry Dewayne Henry, 55, after he was pronounced dead Tuesday. Henry was found unresponsive in his cell by a cell mate and Texas Department of Criminal Justice staff.
Henry was transported to the unit infirmary, where staff performed life-saving procedures. He was pronounced dead at 4 a.m…
