A restaurant chain that boasts the world’s largest draft beer selection is pouring more business into Texas. Yard House is eyeing another spot in the Dallas-Fort Worth area that could be in the works this year. A permit was filed to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation for a new location to open at 5351 Nebraska Furniture Mart Dr. in The Colony.
Yard House’s new space was formerly home to another popular beer lover’s restaurant, Rock & Brews. The “rocktail” concept founded by KISS members Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley closed in June, CultureMap Dallas previously reported.
According to the permit filed for The Colony location, the estimated cost for Yard House’s renovation would be $4 million. The work, which would be a conversion of a full service restaurant with associated site work and landscaping, is set to begin in July and be completed by April 2027…
