Dallas police say an early morning shooting in the 2600 block of Emmett Street left a 35-year-old man dead and a 29-year-old suspect facing a murder charge.
Officers were called to the scene at about 2:15 a.m. yesterday and found Faustino Sanchez suffering from gunshot wounds. Dallas Fire-Rescue pronounced Sanchez dead at the scene, according to police.
Investigators later identified 29-year-old Robert Neri Hernandez as the suspect. Police say Hernandez was located and arrested in connection with the shooting.
