Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has sent a letter to the Collin County Commissioners Court urging local officials to reject any plat applications submitted by developers behind the East Plano Islamic Center development, known as EPIC City or The Meadow Phase 1.
Paxton’s letter comes just two months after Collin County officials rejected a development plan for the community.
EPIC City was originally proposed as a community in unincorporated areas of Collin and Hunt counties, with a mosque, schools and homes planned for development.
