Yesterday’s emergency call brought Dallas police to a quiet stretch of the Red Bird neighborhood, where officers discovered a body near a creek and opened an active investigation that is now drawing intense scrutiny to the south Oak Cliff community.
Officers located the body after an evening emergency call
According to FOX 4 Dallas-Fort Worth, officers were dispatched around 7:30 p.m. to the 1900 block of Autumn Meadow Trail. When they arrived, they found a person near a nearby creek, based on information the station attributed to the Dallas Police Department.
Investigators remained at the scene while detectives and the Dallas County Medical Examiner were notified. Police have not released the victim’s identity, the cause of death, or whether they suspect foul play, and the case remains in its early stages.

With few details being released so far, Dallas police are asking anyone with information to come forward.
