A group of North Texas dads just earned kudos for a lifetime after banding together to help raise money to buy a car for their children’s elementary school’s crossing guard.
Trecia Crawford, known to the Mott Haven Elementary School in Dallas as Ms. Crawford, is a fixture of her community — and since her car broke down about five months ago, she had been commuting to work via public transport.
“I was Lyfting here, and then when I ran out of money, I had to get on the bus,” Crawford told local CBS affiliate KTVT-TV. “But I had to do what I had to do.”…
