Residents of southern Dallas County will soon have a new, much-needed option for healthcare as Parkland Health prepares to open a new clinic in Wilmer.
The 10,000 square-foot clinic will be located off of Interstate 45, in a vacant lot currently surrounded by warehouses, the city of Wilmer said in a press release. The new clinic will offer primary healthcare, pediatric care, a pharmacy, a location for lab work and an option for dental care, the release states.
“This is an opportunity that will offer health services to not only my residents in Wilmer, but it will benefit the entire Inland Port,” said Sheila Petta, the mayor of Wilmer. “There are few health care options in the southern part of Dallas County, making this Parkland Health Care Clinic a much-needed addition to the area overall.”…
