IRVING, Texas — Two young men were arrested after an attempted burglary at Irving Mall late Monday night, police said.
Officers were dispatched on March 23, 2026, to a burglary-in-progress call at the mall. Upon arrival, officers searched the property and located two suspects attempting to flee. Both were detained after a brief foot chase.
Investigators said the suspects had entered a portion of the mall that was closed to the public after hours without consent and intended to commit theft.
