Lower Greenville Nightlife Rocked As Hide Bar Goes Dark On Greenville Avenue

Hide, the cocktail-forward restaurant and rooftop that helped anchor a busy stretch of Lower Greenville, has gone dark, leaving a suddenly quiet storefront on Greenville Avenue. The two-story spot, known for its craft cocktails and weatherized rooftop, no longer shows regular operating hours and its once-bustling roof now sits empty. For neighbors who treated it as a go-to hangout, the shutdown is one more hit to a nightlife strip that has already seen several favorites bow out.

According to the Dallas Observer, Hide’s doors were recently found closed, and the outlet reports it has reached out to both the bar and the building’s landlords but has not yet heard back. That coverage also includes an Instagram image showing the storefront sitting dark.

Hide first opened in Deep Ellum in 2017, then closed in 2020 during the pandemic, before quietly relaunching on Greenville Avenue in August 2022, as reported by The Dallas Morning News.
