Dallas police officer walks away with minor injuries after crash along I-30, officials say

DALLAS — A Dallas police officer involved in a crash walked away with minor injuries after being taken to a nearby hospital on Friday, authorities said.

Police responded to an assist officer with an ambulance call on Interstate 30 near Lamar Street around 2:46 p.m. About a dozen units responded to the scene shortly after, according to the department.

TxDOT cameras show at least one lane closed along the eastbound lanes of I-30.
