Hot Property: A West Kessler Home with Charm from the World Over

Back in 2014, before William and Emily Beasley were the owners of 722 Tenna Loma Court, before they filled that home with four children and a decade’s worth of memories, they were just two interns at Southwest Airlines. And their future home was was not yet the large-for-its-lot, four-bedroom property that it is today. But three years later, the Beasleys, by then a couple, loved it as it was when they purchased the tiny cottage in 2017.

“We loved our original home,” says Emily. “The classically Oak Cliff two-bed, one-bath drew us in from the beginning, so we were intentional about preserving the charm that initially made us fall in love.”

Their 2021 decision, then, to add 1,802 square feet came out of necessity for their fast-growing family. The home more than doubled in size, with functional expansions to accommodate parents and kids alike: Two bedroom closets became a wrap-around bar. A laundry room became a walk-in pantry. A custom-built corner stage—complete with its own spotlight—was added to a playroom…
