IRVING, Texas — A construction crew damaged a natural gas line Tuesday near Carl Road in Irving, prompting road closures in the area.
According to Atmos Energy, the crew responsible for the damage was not affiliated with the company. Just before 12:30 p.m., Atmos crews responded to inspect the line and are on-site to make necessary repairs.
Irving police are asking drivers to avoid Carl Road between the South Service Road of SH 183 and East Grauwyler Road until further notice. There is no estimated time for the roadway to reopen, officials said…
