Dallas Developer Snags Massive Melissa Tract For 652 New Homes

A Dallas-based developer is planting a big flag in Melissa, quietly securing a major tract north of downtown for Riverstone Estates, a 268-acre master-planned neighborhood that is expected to bring 652 single-family homes at build-out. Wilbow Corp. says the first phase spans more than 60 acres and will create about 265 homesites, with finished lots slated to go to builders in early 2027 and community amenities to follow soon after.

According to The Dallas Morning News, Wilbow Corp., the Dallas subsidiary of Melbourne-based Wilbow Group, announced the land acquisition this week and described Riverstone Estates as a multi-phase community covering 268 acres. The recent purchase included more than 60 acres for the initial phase, which will support roughly 265 homesites. Jason Massey, president of Wilbow Corp., called Riverstone Estates an exceptional opportunity to deliver high-quality homes, the outlet reports.
