DALLAS — A Dallas jury has convicted a documented gang member in a 2023 armed carjacking in Deep Ellum that ended with a high-speed police chase reaching 147 mph.
Jihad Thies Gorree Thomas, 27, was found guilty April 3, 2026, on two counts of aggravated robbery and one count of evading arrest with a vehicle.
