Former Dallas police sergeant sentenced for selling stolen department-issued firearms

A former Dallas police sergeant was sentenced to more than two years in federal prison for selling stolen department-issued firearms, prosecutors said.

Thomas Fry, 53, of Royse City, was sentenced Wednesday to 28 months in prison by U.S. District Judge Brantley Starr after pleading guilty to possession and sale of a stolen firearm.
