North Texas suburbs are among the fastest growing cities in the US

The top five fastest growing suburban areas in the United States are all in Texas, according to new data from the U.S. Census.

Celina, north of Dallas, has been recognized as the fastest growing city for the second consecutive year. From 2024 to 2025, the population increased by almost 25% to over 64,400 residents. The population was 16,739 in 2020.

The second-fastest growing city is Fulshear, west of Houston. Princeton, Melissa and Anna, all DFW suburbs, rank third, fourth and fifth, respectively…
