Dallas ranked one of the most mosquito-infested cities in the United States

While Dallas continues to attract massive crowds of new residents year after year, it also seems to be drawing a decidedly less desirable demographic: mosquitoes.

According to a recent report released by pest control company Orkin, Dallas currently ranks as the 8th worst city in the nation for mosquito activity.

The Top 10 Worst U.S. Cities for Mosquitoes

To determine these rankings, Orkin analyzed the volume of new residential mosquito treatments they performed nationwide between March 18, 2025, and March 18, 2026. While Dallas landed high on the list, Los Angeles secured the undesirable number-one spot for the sixth consecutive year.
