Free breakfast, lunch, and snack programs started this month in Escambia, Santa Rosa, Pinellas, and Montgomery counties. Kids 18 and younger can get meals all summer long. No pre-registration needed. St. Petersburg Parks and Recreation Department operates 17 spots through its Summer Food Service Program. A grant from the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services’ Summer Breakspot Program pays for it. The Ohio Department of Education and Workforce backs the SUN Meals Program at nearly 70 locations throughout Montgomery County.
