THE BREAKDOWN: A 38-year-old Dayton man with two prior federal drug convictions faces a minimum of 10 years and up to life in prison after admitting to running a bulk fentanyl and methamphetamine operation while on supervised release.
Marcus Gullatte, Sr., of Dayton, pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court today to federal charges of conspiring to possess with intent to distribute fentanyl and methamphetamine. Because of the nature of the charges, Gullatte now faces a mandatory minimum of 10 years and up to life behind bars.
According to federal court documents, Gullatte’s illegal activity took place throughout the summer of 2024. Investigators found that he bought bulk quantities of fentanyl and methamphetamine from a local supplier in the Dayton area and then turned around and resold those drugs for cash…
