DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — The trial for a 23-year-old facing several charges related to the death of 18-year-old Alfred Hale III is expected to begin Monday.
Hale was shot and killed in early April 2025 as he waited at the RTA Hub bus stop for a ride to school. He was a senior at Dunbar High School and a student that the Dayton Public Schools District called a “valued member of both the Dunbar family and the broader Dayton Public Schools community.”
