Ohio cities open cooling centers amid heat wave this week

OHIO — Brutal heat and humidity arrive Monday.

Highs will reach 90-plus degrees, with many areas hitting triple-digit heat indices this week.

To help residents beat the heat, some Ohio cities have offered cooling centers. If your city isn’t listed, residents are advised to call the city or check 211 for any cooling centers.
