Dayton mayor’s walks to end for the year, but outreach efforts will continue

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Thursday marked the last of the Dayton mayor’s series of community walks for 2026, and she says that while this might be the last walk of the year, this kind of outreach is far from over.

Partway into the first year of her term, Dayton Mayor Shenise Turner-Sloss has looked to emphasize communication with the community, with these walks a staple.
