DAYTON, Ohio — A Richmond man was recently taken into custody in Ohio after a recent investigation into alleged child molestation.
According to a post from the Richmond Police Department on social media, Chris Moore was arrested in Dayton, Ohio, on Sunday in relation to his outstanding warrant. This comes after a nearly year-long investigation by the Richmond Police Department.
The post read that Moore is facing preliminary charges of:
- One count of child molesting, a Level 1 felony
- One count of sexual misconduct with a minor, a Level 4 felony
- One count of child seduction, a Level 5 felony
Officials with the Richmond Police Department stated the following entities assisted with the investigation that led to Moore’s arrest:

- Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department
- Dayton Police Department
- Indiana Department of Child Services
