XENIA, Ohio (WDTN) – Beginning on Wednesday, Aug. 26, local public-service agencies will compete at ONE Bistro in Xenia to draw attention to food security during National Everybody Eats Week.
Some local agencies participating in the competition include the Greene County Sheriff’s Office, Xenia City Council, Greene County Regional Dispatch, Xenia Professional Firefighters IAFF Local 698, and Kettering Health Greene Memorial Emergency Department.
Meals purchased and donations made during each shift will count toward that team’s fundraising goal. Whichever organization raises the most will take home the Brass Dinner Bell Award to display for the year…
