Authorities in Ohio recovered a rare vintage car valued at more than $400,000 after the trailer it was in for a car show was stolen.
The Dayton Police Department said officers responded to the 2000 block of S. Edwin C. Moses Boulevard at around 7 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 21, for a report of a stolen vehicle. They arrived to find it was actually more than one vehicle, however.
According to police, multiple suspects stole a GMC Denali Sierra with its attached trailer. Inside the trailer was a rare 1970 Pontiac GTO Judge valued at more than $400,000.
The GTO belonged to the victim’s father, who bought it “new off the lot 56 years ago,” police said. They were visiting from North Carolina to attend a car show in the area…
